Must See: The Short Game

The first original documentary feature from Netflix focuses its lens on golf’s future champions.

 

Executive Producers and entertainment power couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, and Director Josh Greenbaum, have crafted a golf experience for Netflix that, judging by the trailer at least, will appeal to most everyone. The Short Game (official site) follows the lives of a selection of seven-year-old competitors who are among the 1500 or so kids worldwide seeking to make their mark at the World Championships of Junior Golf.

Check out the trailer (above). It’s memorable, charming, and surely to make you laugh. Kids have a remarkable capacity for acting out the wide range of emotions adult golfers will recognize they feel most every round (only they get to play Pinehurst).
